Martin Coyne - Managing Partner
Martin Coyne joined Ralli 1979 and was admitted as a solicitor in 1981. Having worked unstintingly and fluently to take the personal injury department to where it is today, Martin was made Managing Partner in 2001.
Martin firmly believes that the success of our firm is all down to the people in our teams. From our administration clerks through to our senior solicitors, he believes it works so well because of the people involved.
He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA). Martin is also nominated by the Headway Charity as a specialist solicitor in head injuries. He has been awarded certification from the Spinal Injuries Association in relation to spinal injury work.
Martin has co-authored a book, currently published by Manchester University Press, entitled "Living with Head Injury". He regularly lectures on the Manchester Law Society Personal Injury Diploma Course, which is supported by the Metropolitan University of Manchester. He also has lectured to the Bar and other firms of solicitors on personal injury litigation.
In 1999 Martin was invited in 1999 to lecture in Spanish to the Valencian Law Society regarding Personal Injury litigation in England and Wales. Martin's work generally involves catastrophic injury cases and he is supported by a full team of qualified lawyers, para-legals and personal assistants. His spare time is spent with his partner and children, playing sports or sailing the high seas, as he is a fully qualified RYA Yachtmaster
